Associate: Bailey Hughes:
Bailey Hughes received her JD from California Western School of Law in San Diego in 2021 and was admitted to the Calif. State Bar that same year. In law school Ms. Hughes received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, the Faculty Award, and the Academic Excellence Award in Dispute Resolution. In 2017, Ms. Hughes earned a B.A. in Political Science, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Prior to joining Anastassiou & Associates as an associate attorney in March of 2024, Ms. Hughes worked as an associate attorney for another local firm, primarily in litigation of issues relating to education. Before Ms. Hughes was admitted to the California State Bar, she worked for several years at Anastassiou & Associates as a law clerk and legal assistant.
Of Counsel: Stephen Beals PLC:
Stephen Beals received his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University, School of Law in 2002, and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from St. Mary's College of California in 1998. Stephen has worked in Monterey County as an attorney since 2003 and has extensive experience in representing clients in the real estate, construction, and cannabis industries. Stephen has extensive experience in business, land use, real estate, and related litigation and has worked with the law firm of Anastassiou & Associates since 2012.
